How long have you been coaching? Overall 23 years. At Whitney 10 years. When my oldest daughter was 5 years old, her coach couldn't commit to the team halfway through the season and asked me if I could takeover. I said yes but I played soccer but never coached. I thought that I just really enjoy the game and the players, so I started taking soccer coaching courses and clinics. I coached club teams until 2012 and in 2010 I was given the opportunity to coach at the high school level. I stopped coaching club teams in 2012 and concentrated on high school soccer only. How do you set up your team to be successful? We work hard preseason, we become a family and learn life lessons. Do you have any hobbies that you do when you are not coaching? I do. I like to workout and speed walking. Love to watch soccer as well on the off season.
