Keegan Anzalone
Coach Anzalone combines his passion for lacrosse with his dedication to education as the head
coach of the girls’ lacrosse program at Whitney High School for the 2024-2025 season. With 2
years of teaching experience in Mathematics, he brings a unique perspective to coaching,
focusing on both athletic and academic development. A former high school boys lacrosse player
at Leland High School and a Bay Area travel lacrosse player for the South Valley Chiefs. His
coaching philosophy emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and personal growth, instilling these
values in his players both on and off the field. In the classroom, Coach Anzalone fosters a
supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and collaboration. He believes
that the skills learned in sports translate to academic success, empowering his athletes to excel
in all areas of their lives. Outside of lacrosse and teaching, Coach Anzalone enjoys racing and
coaching motocross, and teaching music, which he incorporates into his coaching to promote a
well-rounded experience for his players. With his enthusiasm and commitment to education and
athletics, Coach Anzalone is excited to inspire the next generation of female lacrosse players at
Whitney High School.
