DISTANCE CARNIVAL/HUSKY INVITATIONAL/LEFEBVRE

On Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th, the Wildcat Track and Field team split up and competed at three different meets! The majority of the team headed up to Placer High School to get a another competition under our belts. We gained experience and performed well with a small group of competitors. The F/S boys starred in the vertical jumps, taking first in both relays. Adam Obrien cleared 6 and freshmen Isaac Pederson and Aaron Garcia both set personal bests by clearing 5'8". The three jumping stars also combined to win the Pole Vault competition. At the distance Carnival, there were personal bests all around as the distance part of the team ran at Bella Vista and ran really well. Finally, our top boys sprint crew ran at the Husky invite at Sheldon High SChool. The short relay won the event, and placed in the top 5 in the 100, 200, and 400 in a great field of competitors. Up next: We will race on Friday the first of April at Colfax High School. A good tune up before we travel to Pondorosa High School for our second league competition on April 5th, a Wed. We will also qualify some individuals to the Stanford invitational on April 2nd.
