Q: What position are you and why do you enjoy that position?

A: I play setter or right side and I enjoy playing these positions because I’m a good setter and it’s fun.

Q: What was your most memorable memory from this season?

A: My most memorable memory from this season was probably playing Elk Grove and they were a very good team and it was a pretty even match so it was a lot of fun to finally beat them in the third set.

Q: What is your favorite part of a game and why?

A: My favorite part of a game would probably be like when the audience is cheering for you and when you get that perfect set and the hitter comes and they just kill the ball and it’s really fun and exciting to hear that the crowd is excited for you and your teammates are cheering you on.

Q: Do you plan on pursuing volleyball in the future such as college volleyball?

A: Um, I don’t plan on pursuing college volleyball, I hope to continue playing club until senior year and then I might play Intramural during college.

Q: How do you balance school and sports?

A: A lot of it is hard because obviously sports take up a lot of my time, but I try to balance it out by when I get home. I don’t spend time on my phone or anything, I just go straight into school work so that I’m able to go to sleep early and be ready for practice the next day.

Q: Is there any special team bonding activities you and your teammates do?

A: Special team bonding activities that my team has done in the past, we’ve had a pool party, we’ve had a BBQ, and it’s been a lot of fun.

Q: What are your team strengths and weaknesses, anything you all need to work on?

A: Our team is pretty strong overall our passing is pretty solid and setting and hitting are good too. Something that I think we need to work on is less missed serves, so less serves into the net.

Q: Is there anything else you would like people to know?

A: Come out and support the volleyball teams by coming to the games!
