Congratulations go out to the men's golf team. Recently, the Whitney Athletic Department analyzed the unweighted grade point averages (GPA) of every single varsity athlete. Averages were developed for each varsity team and they were ranked accordingly. The men's golf team, led by University of Arizona bound Sam Sommerhauser, earned the #1 ranking of 26 teams. Their team GPA was an astounding 3.78. This team not only excelled in the classroom but had their sites set on repeating as the section champions when their season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The top 5 teams ranked by GPA are as follows:

1. Men's Golf - 3.78
2. (tie) Women's Waterpolo and Women's Cross Country - 3.73
4. (tie)Women's Soccer and Women's Tennis - 3.68
